Underdogs covered the runline 14-2 and won outright 9-7 across 16 graded games. Below: the slate result, the plays our models fired — full stake and reduced (provisional) stake — and the games our discipline guard told us to pass.

The live ledger — a clean rebound

A monster day for the dogs: 14 of 16 underdogs covered the runline, and the model's three reduced-stake plays (Rule C, line-cooling) went a perfect 3-0 outright and 3-0 on the spread — Yankees, Astros, and Diamondbacks all won outright. The full live book (every dog our system actually backed) finished 9-5, +$8.73, with all three Rule C plays cashing. One housekeeping note: the Diamondbacks runline ticket never placed — the game was a pick'em and Polymarket only posted Arizona as the −1.5 favorite, so there was no "Diamondbacks +1.5" dog market to buy; the system correctly stood down rather than bet a bad line. Actionable plays

Actionable plays we fire pre-game: provisional (line-cooling, Rule C) plays at reduced stake. Provisional plays carry a smaller stake while that model is still proving out.

Model track record (season to date)

How to read this: the totals above are season-to-date and include our pre-launch backtest (Mar 27–May 11), when these rules were still being fit to past data — so they overstate what was bettable in real time. The honest out-of-sample record, since the rules locked on May 12: full-stake plays 17-18 (48.6%), reduced-stake plays 77-32 (70.6%). Records are recomputed straight from our logged game-by-game data every night. Stand-down (WATCH) results — 7-4 this season — are excluded entirely, even though they'd improve the headline.
